Adriana Ruas is one of the most dynamic figures in the new wave of Portuguese electronic artists. A DJ, producer and co-founder of Kokölò, the Porto-based label and promoter, she has made her mark with unpredictable sets built on deep, wide-ranging selections: vibrant house, forward-leaning techno, off-kilter rhythms and unexpected gems stitched together with instinct and authenticity. Since 2022, shehas become a steady presence in both national and international clubs, sharing the booth with artists such as Sally C, Tijana T, Paranoid London, Ryan Elliott, Fadi Mohem, Ogazòn and Marie Montexier.

Her energy has taken her far beyond Portugal, including appearances at iconic

spaces like Tresor, Sisyphos and Renate Garden in Berlin, Lion & Lamb and The Marquee Moon in London, as well as clubs and festivals in Milan, Corfu, Bali, Clermont-Ferrand and Leipzig.

In 2025, she released her first work as a producer: “Gone”, featured on the VA The Sound of Kokölò, and “Not Only People”, part of the special vinyl edition “A memory pressed in wax: three artists · one night (200 copies, hand-numbered, no repress, no digital)” .

In 2023, she played an active role in the programming and communication of Pérola Negra, while consistently championing visibility for emerging and often overlooked artists. With this multifaceted presence, Adriana Ruas stands as an essential and vibrant force in today’s electronic landscape.
